Deep in the heart of the Limavady countryside, there is an area of farmland so rich and fertile that it produces a rare herd of cattle; fat, nosey and melodramatic to boot. It’s down these country paths you’ll find me, jumping the odd style with my wellies and my camera whilst the quizzical eye of the nearest farmer looks on.
It is in my homeland that I photograph and paint these bold beasts, although there is more to me than meets the eye, or at least the curious eyes of the cows I capture!
I am an Architectural student at the University of Bath where I happily swap my paintbrush for a scalpel, and where the term ‘studio’ takes on an entirely new meaning. Never one to let an opportunity pass, I have worked for architectural practices in both Ireland and Denmark, interweaving practical experience and cultural education into my academic studies, for which I graduated in July 2012.
